We are committed to improving quality of life for everyone, especially, for people with social barriers to employment. We empower communities with the right skills and training required to harness local resources and opportunities. We build a network of confident people who are self-motivated and reliant to achieve whatever they set their minds to achieve. We make connections for people to build lasting friendships and promote community interaction.
Our track record includes delivery of community–led projects in our locality including: effective communication, community engagement, organizational management, capacity building, mentoring, problem solving and team building. All Board members have been sourced from within the local community. FFAP has Board members who govern the organization and are from different professional backgrounds. We are a member of Sacsen African network and work closely with many African organisations to support and improve the life and wellbeing of the Ethnic community.
We build a network of confident people who are self-motivated and reliant to achieve whatever they set their minds to achieve. We make connections for people to build lasting friendships and promote community interaction, starting with our young youths and equipping them with the right social skills for a brighter future, thereby able to make positive decisions for themselves. We work towards breaking down cultural barriers and social isolation.
We have a wide range of volunteer mentors who are eager to support and encourage the youth to leading a positive and fulfilling lifestyle, people with a different life experiences who can use their life experience to help others to keep being positive and moving forward. We engage the services of specially trained personnel, trained in delivering STEPS confidence building, which has been identified as helping people with confidence building and having a positive attitude to life. We have a range of experience at supporting youths and socially secluded people at interacting and bonding through creating fun activities that help everyone to bond and socialise, thereby sharing life experience for positive push.
We run projects that will promote friendly relationships, enhance life chances and build bridges across one’s limitations. Our projects are open to everyone in need of help, who wishes to take part.
